While the Seller Dashboard provides you with a quick overview of how your listings are performing across your entire store, the Product Insights Report lets you dive deeper into individual product performance and compare metrics across time periods and Buyer types (First-time vs. Repeat).
The data for the Earnings and Units Sold metrics are displayed differently between the Seller Dashboard and the Product Insights Report. In the Seller Dashboard, these two metrics are updated in real-time, whereas in the Product Insights Report, this data is updated multiple times a day. We recommend referring to the Seller Dashboard for the most up-to-date data when looking at Earnings and Units Sold. With the exception of Easel, the Product Insights Report provides Teacher-Authors with data for all of the same metrics available in the Seller Dashboard, in addition to two new metrics: Wish Listed and Saved for Later.
Please note that the Wish Listed and Saved for Later metrics represent a snapshot of users who have your selected product(s) wish-listed or saved for later within the date range that you’ve chosen. If a user adds a resource to their Wish List or Saved for Later list and then removes it during the selected date range, it will not be included in the final calculation.
The Product Insights Report has several optional filters that make it easier for Teacher-Authors to identify Buyer trends and behavior over time, understand what's working for the products in their store, and identify areas of improvement. This level of in-depth reporting provides Teacher-Authors with the data and insights that they need to make informed decisions about their product listings and marketing efforts.
Note: Comparison data for First-time vs Repeat Buyers is available in the Product Insights Report for the following metrics: Earnings, Units Sold, Carts, and Unique Buyers.
