Your TPT Seller Dashboard provides you with a number of different filtering options, making it easy to view and compare Buyer behavior over time, including detailed product data. When looking at Earnings, Units Sold, Carts, or Unique Buyers, Sellers can filter by:
- All Buyers
- All Buyers, both first-time and repeat, who purchased during the selected date range
- First-time Buyers
- Buyers who made their first ever purchase during the selected date range are counted once, even if they purchase multiple times.
- A higher number means your marketing is successfully acquiring new customers. This shows growth in your customer base, not just repeat activity.
- Repeat Buyers
- Buyers who made at least one purchase before the start of the selected date range and made additional purchases during the time range.
- A higher number indicates strong customer loyalty and retention, where existing customers are returning to buy.
Please note that when looking at any other metric, “Buyer type” will be grayed out.
Understanding and comparing Buyer behavior over time can help to inform your promotional efforts as a Seller, but it is only one piece of the puzzle. Knowing what kinds of products educators are purchasing from your store is also important, especially when it comes to creating new products or making updates to existing products in your TPT store. For that reason, we provide Sellers with the option to filter their product data by:
- Custom Category (Choose from any of the custom categories in your store)
- Type (Digital Download, Bundle, Video, Google Resource)
- Status (Active, Inactive)
These filters will provide you with actionable insights regarding product performance in your store. This can help you make the most of your marketing and creation efforts as a TPT Teacher-Author.
