If a Buyer wants to share a purchased resource with additional users, they’ll need additional licenses. Resources on TPT are licensed for individual use, which means each person using a resource should have their own license.
A license gives one person permission to use a purchased resource.
The multiple license purchase feature allows Buyers to purchase additional licenses to share a single digital download with a specified number of people, usually their colleagues. We created the license model to make it easier to responsibly share resources.
The first license is purchased at full price. Each additional purchase of the same resource is considered an additional license and is purchased at the multiple license price (defaulted to a discount of 10%). As a Teacher-Author, you can set the cost for additional licenses to any price or discount percentage that seems right to you. A bulk purchase discount can be a great incentive to Buyers, but we strongly encourage you to consider the value of your work in picking the discount that’s right for you.
If you choose not to participate in providing multiple license discounts, you can set the multiple licenses discount to 0% by entering the same price as your list price — like this:
