When allocating TPT School Express funds to your teachers, you can choose between Individual Allocation or School Pool mode.

Individual Allocation - You can distribute school funds in a way that works best for your school’s needs and set specific limits for each teacher.
Note: This is the default setting when you first activate your account. - School Pool - Teachers can use as much of your school's funds within the total balance as needed. There are no individual limits per teacher.
To switch to School Pool mode, please:
- Visit the People tab on the TPT School Express homepage by clicking on your profile icon on the top right of the screen and then selecting “TPT School Express.”
- Click “Manage Roster.”
- Select “Switch to School Pool” on the bottom left of the "Manage Roster" modal.
- Confirm the switch by clicking “Yes, switch to School Pool.”
Please note that only Primary Admins can switch the distribution method for their school.
Once you’ve switched to School Pool mode, all teachers will be able to purchase resources from the shared bank of funds. We recommend communicating that clearly with teachers and setting expectations to ensure fair and considerate use.
If you choose to switch back to Individual Allocation, you will need to redistribute funds to each teacher. You can switch by selecting “Switch to individual allocation” on the bottom left corner of the "Manage Roster" modal.
