If you’d like to test the student experience of opening an Easel Activity link before assigning it, you’ll need to copy and paste the student Activity link into a new private window in your browser. Please see the step-by-step instructions below for assistance with opening a private window in your preferred browser.
Google Chrome
- In Chrome, click the three vertical dots at the top right corner of your window and select “New Incognito Window.”
- Copy and paste the Easel Activity student link into the new incognito window.
- Follow the prompts to log in as a student using a Google account or your email address.
You can also open an incognito window using keyboard shortcuts:
- On Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS, press Ctrl + Shift + N
- On a Mac, press ⌘ + Shift + N
Safari
- In Safari, open the “File” menu at the top left of your screen and select “New Private Window.”
- Copy and paste the Easel Activity student link into the new private window.
- Follow the prompts to log in as a student using a Google account or your email address.
Firefox
- In Firefox, open the menu with the three horizontal lines located in the top right corner of the screen and select “New private window”.
- Copy and paste the Easel Activity student link into the new private window.
- Follow the prompts to log in as a student using a Google account or your email address.
Microsoft Edge
- In Microsoft Edge, click the three horizontal dots at the top right corner of your window and select “New InPrivate Window.”
- Copy and paste the Easel Activity student link into the new InPrivate window.
- Follow the prompts to log in as a student using a Google account or your email address.
Note: The ability to open a private window may not be available on a school device. If you don’t see the option for your preferred browser, we recommend trying on a personal device.
