With Easel’s “View In Progress” feature, you can track student progress as they work through an assigned activity to ensure that all of your students are engaged and staying on track every step of the way. This means that you’ll no longer have to wonder which students are getting stuck on a particular question or need additional guidance and support.
If you’d like to check on your students’ progress on an assigned Easel Activity, you can do so by following the instructions below:
- Open the Easel Activity and click on the “Assign & Review” tab.
- From there, you’ll see a list of student names, the status of their activity, the date that they turned in their activity, and the option to “Review” or “View” a student’s activity.
- If the activity status shows “In Progress,” click the “View” button to assess a snapshot of how that particular student is doing at that moment in time.
- For the most up to date view, click on the “Refresh” button (Note: You will not be able to see the student working on the activity in real-time, but clicking “Refresh” will show you the latest state of the student’s work.)
In addition to viewing in progress work, the “View In Progress” option also allows you to re-open any Easel Activity that you’ve graded and returned to your students. This feature is particularly helpful if you need to reference feedback that you provided, or simply want to keep track of student development over time.
Please know that while in “View In Progress” mode or when viewing a returned activity, you will not be able to post comments in the activity or provide feedback as the activity is locked.
