Yes, students can complete an Easel Activity without an email address by selecting the “Skip student login” option when creating a shareable link.
With this option enabled, students do not need to sign in. They only need to enter their name to open the assignment.
Please note that if the “Skip student login” option is selected, students must complete the assignment in one session. Students will not be able to reopen the assignment after submitting their work and teachers will not be able to leave comments or return submitted work.
Additionally, if a student closes the assignment or their session automatically expires due to inactivity, they will not be able to open the assignment again and pick up where they left off. When this happens, all work will be lost, and students will need to open the assignment again and restart.
Note: The login requirement can be modified after creating an Easel Activity link, but it cannot be changed after a student has opened the Activity.
