School Pool mode is a fund distribution option that allows all teachers at your school to access a shared bank of School Express funds. Instead of funds being allocated to teachers individually, the total balance is available for all teachers to use for purchases.
When School Pool mode is active, the product page will show the total balance of funds available for your entire school as “School Pool funds.”
Please note that School Pool funds are shared among the educators in your school. These funds are meant to be shared by all teachers, so it’s important to purchase thoughtfully and with consideration for your colleagues’ needs as well.
You’ll see the current balance of School Pool funds on the product page and by hovering your mouse over the school icon at the top-right corner of your account. This balance is live and will change as other teachers make purchases.
